Night Nurse capsules are an effective night time treatment for colds and flu. It also has the added bonus of aiding the patient having a good nights sleep, something that people may struggle with when feeling under the weather. It contains three active ingredients (paracetamol, promethazine and dextromethorphan) which work together to help the patient overcome their symptoms.
How long should I take Night Nurse Capsules? It should be takeen for 3 days only. If symptoms still persit you can take paracetamol instead of the Night Nurse capsules and contact your GP for further advice
Can I take any other medication to control my symptoms? Since Night Nurse capsules contains a wide variety of active ingredients it is not recommended to take any further cold or flu remedies.
This medication may make you feel drowsy. It is important not to drive or operate heavy machinery whilst taking the medication. It may also cause stomach disturbances such as nausea, vomitting and cramps.
Before taking any medicines, regardless of whether they are over the counter or prescription-only, it is essential always to read the patient information leaflet.
